Clubs and Open Play events

A home for a group that plays every week: members, events, rankings and money, with joining always free.

By Albert Antioquia · Updated

A PaQueueKa club is the home for a group that plays together every week: its members, its sessions, its events and its rankings. Joining a club is always free. Creating and running one comes with Pro Host.

The club page

Each club has a cover photo, a crest and up to four tags, with tabs for Overview, Members, Sessions and Events. A Pro Host can create up to five clubs.

Members and admins

  • Joining. Share the club’s code or QR. The owner chooses whether to approve each request or accept everyone automatically.
  • Roles. Members, admins and one owner. Co-admins can run sessions and take over hosting if the host has to leave; only the owner can delete the club.
  • Guests. Walk-ins who play often can be kept on the club’s saved roster, and merged into a full member later without losing their games.
  • Self check-in. If the host turns it on, members join a club session without waiting for approval.

Open Play and other events

Admins post events with a date, a time and a pinned venue: Open Play, a friendly game, training, a meetup, or a tournament day. Members RSVP, and the host sets a cap from 2 to 500 places. If an event is cancelled, moved or rescheduled, everyone who RSVPed gets a notification.

On the map

A host can pin the exact location of the club and each event. Anyone can open a pin in their maps app for directions. In Discover, Near melists clubs by real distance, and you can search near any other area, for example where you’ll be next weekend. It finds clubs and their events; it isn’t a directory of every court.

Club sessions and rankings

  • Run sessions under the club, start them from saved templates, and keep the regulars on a saved roster.
  • Club rankings carry across every club session, by season or all time, and separately for badminton and pickleball. Seasons follow the Filipino year: Amihan, Tag-init, Habagat and Bagwis. See rankings and stats.
  • A club ledger shows who owes what across sessions (see fee splitting).

What’s free and what’s Pro Host

Free: joining clubs, playing in club sessions, RSVPing to events and finding clubs near you. Pro Host: creating clubs, club sessions and events, templates, the saved roster, club rankings, the ledger and co-admins. The plans page has the full list and prices.
