Fee splitting: who owes what, worked out from the games played
Four split methods, discounts, and a paid/unpaid list, in the session’s own currency. Free for every host.
By Albert Antioquia · Updated
Every PaQueueKa session has a Fees tab. The host enters what the night cost, picks how to split it, and the app works out each player’s share from the games they actually played. It’s free in every session. PaQueueKa keeps track of who owes what; it doesn’t take or send money.
Four ways to split
| Mode | How it works | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| By matches | The total is shared by games played: more games, bigger share | Drop-in nights where people come and go |
| Equal | The same share for everyone who played | Groups that arrive and leave together |
| Per match | A set fee for every game a player plays | Clubs that publish a price per game |
| Fixed | One flat rate, play as much as you like | Paid open play with a drop-in rate |
Not sure which is fairest for your group? How to split court fees compares them with a worked example, and the court fee calculator runs your own numbers before you open the app.
Discounts
Give a player a discount by amount or by percentage: a first-timer, a coach, someone who brought the shuttles. Then choose who covers it: the host absorbs it, or it is spread across everyone else.
Who has paid
- Each player shows as paid, unpaid, partly paid, or nothing owed.
- Players can tap I’ve paid on their own phone. In the Philippines they can also pay the host by QR Ph (GCash or Maya) and add the reference. The host confirms either way.
- The host sees the totals and everyone’s status. Each player sees their own share.
Any currency
Each session has its own currency, picked from 34, so a group in Manila, Singapore or Seattle sees amounts the way they pay them. Amounts are shown, not converted. The fee line follows the sport: shuttlecocks for badminton, balls for pickleball.
For clubs: the ledger (Pro Host)
A club owner on Pro Host also gets a club ledger: who owes what across every club session, not just tonight. Useful when members pay monthly or run a tab. More on clubs.
Questions people ask
Does PaQueueKa collect payments?
No. It works out each player’s share and tracks who has paid. Players pay the host however the group already does, and can mark their share as paid in the app for the host to confirm.
Is fee splitting free?
Yes, in every session. Only the club ledger, which tracks balances across many club sessions, comes with Pro Host.
